Food was so good! My husband got their seafood scrambled egg option with hollandaise and so much great flavor, not too salty. I had the chicken and waffle. The chicken tender is very crispy and seasoned, and the waffle is very light and fluffy. The service is 10/10 - don't know his name but he has curly hair. Ambiance is clean and seems like a nice local family style brunch spot. We waited about 20-30 minutes, but went by fairly quickly. Definitely recommend for brunch.

Food is consistently good especially the monthly specials. Service is efficient. Only complaint is the long wait at times but that just means the place is good.

This was an overall great trip to Brigs! Everything was so streamlined and fast making it an amazing experience. The ambience, to be honest wasn't all that, but the wall of various landmarks in the area was a really nice touch. Our server was kind and thoughtful, always coming quick with refills and getting our food out really quickly! Speaking of food, the food and drink were awesome! The Chicken and waffles I ordered were light and tasty, with the bacon being nice and crunchy. The eggs were alright, I don't really expect much when it comes to eggs in restaurants. Overall, Brigs is a decent spot to get breakfast (or brunch). Pay them a visit!

I dined here with my dad for a weekday breakfast . The service and food were great! There was a less than five minute wait to get seated . The server was attentive and pleasant. The portions were large and the avocado was very fresh . The scrambled eggs with cheese was light and fluffy , and the blueberry pancake was delicious. Parking was easy accessible and the restaurant was clean .

Came here for brunch the first weekend of 2025 and was blown away by the value! I got a solid meal with BIG portions (I had French toast, home fries, and eggs) for only $13 (with tax!). The place was hustling and bustling (as usual), very lively and cozy. The service was super friendly, though a bit slow because they were really busy-- I didn't mind since I wasn't in a rush but won't come here if i have something right after.

I've been going here for over 30 years (can't believe I am saying that lol)! The Brigs Benedict is a great value and delicious with the Hollandaise sauce over it. Diner feel, nice staff.

Really impressive menu for this little diner-style place in Durham. And looks like it's part of a small chain so looking forward to trying the other locations. My GF had the mixed berry pancakes - really good but she found herself wishing she had got the waffle done the same way. I had the coastal Benedict with blue crab and shrimp and it was definitely a winner. We also split an avocado toast - really the only thing we didn't like. Our waiter was "OK" - not very attentive and not able to make good recommendations because he doesn't eat meat or eggs and hasn't tasted most of the food, but a nice guy. There were other servers there who seemed more at home so hopefully next time we get one of them. All in all a good experience - will try again.

Brigs is awesome! Food comes out quickly and always hits the spot. It's also one of the more affordable breakfast spots in the area. Definitely advise coming if you're looking for standard breakfast food.

I liked this spot, very cute decor and nice staff. We waited about 35 mins and I'm not sure I would wait that long again. My husband loved his skillet. My shrimp and crab benedict was pretty good. I liked that it came with fresh fruit. The hollandaise was really tasty and the egg was poached well. On the other hand....The grits were drowning in butter and still pretty flavorless. I would definitely eat here again, the waffles looked amazing!
